Role Overview

A leading packaging manufacturing business is looking to appoint a number of Pre-Press Assistants to their growing team based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. A number of permanent positions are available.

The main purpose of the role is assist in ensuring efficiencies are met across all press machines within the Print/Production department.

Key Responsibilities

To adhere with health and safety, and hygiene rules at all times
Operating duct wash equipment to assist in improving efficiencies on machines to reduce downtime.
Operation of anilox cleaning equipment to maintain anilox housekeeping.
Preparation of doctor blade chambers ready for the relevant press machine.
Working with Print crews to ensure ancillary equipment is fit for purpose.

Correct usage of personal protective equipment
Good timekeeping and attendance
Self motivation
Basic IT skills
To react quickly to changing priorities

Shifts

Continental (6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am)
Shift Example: 3 Days, 2 Off, 3 Nights, 3 Off, 3 Days, 8 Off, 3 Nights
Overtime paid at 1.5x (when available)
