Blue Moon Recruitment successfully appoints three crucial roles for newly formed PBS Consortium

The General Maintenance and Operations Contract (GMOC) for all Total Exploration and Production UK (TEPUK) awarded in January 2020.

The Aberdeen-based consortium PBS composed of Ponticelli, Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services and Semco Maritime brings a wealth of knowledge, North Sea and global experience and expertise to TEPUK.

After an intensive three-month transition period, PBS have successfully and safely transferred over 650 existing employees under TUPE to either Ponticelli, Brand or Semco, as well as recruited for over 50 new roles within PBS.

Following an excellent working relationship with Brand Energy, Blue Moon Recruitment were tasked with recruiting the following roles:

– Work Pack Engineer
– EHS Advisor
– Site HR Administrator

With his successful track record and extensive industry experience, the search was assigned to Dion West (Business Partner), who heads up Blue Moon’s oil and gas division. After a thorough and comprehensive recruitment campaign and several rounds of interviewing, three fantastic offers had been made.

Meet the new additions to the PBS team

Chris Ransom, Work Pack Engineer, will be responsible for ensuring access, insulation and coatings deliverables are understood, and clear estimates, method statements and risk assessments are provided as part of the safe delivery of the project.

Daniel Rae, EHS Advisor, will be championing UK’s safety, health and environmental management system and safe working practices, whilst helping to support and develop effective working relationships.

Sarah-Jane Adams, Site HR Administrator, will take ownership for site HR support, on-boarding, compliance and administration.

Emma Patmore, HR Manager of Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, commented: “Having worked with Blue Moon Recruitment for several years, a relationship of trust and confidence has been established meaning they were the only choice of recruiter for Brand having been awarded a major contract in Aberdeen as part of PBS early 2020. Our recruits to the team since contract award have been extremely successful and we will continue to work with Blue Moon Recruitment as they widen their network in Aberdeen and other offshore ventures working alongside Brand and our collaborating partners. A successful recruiting partnership makes for a successful team!”
