Role Overview

A leading multinational logistics business are looking to appoint a talented Export Planner to their highly successful head office team based in North East Lincolnshire.

The position will be maintaining high levels of customer service to all clients, in an extremely fast-paced logistics environment. You will take responsibility for the full shipment process from point of quote being accepted, delivery of goods and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

Point of contact communicating customers freight requirements, domestically and overseas.
Booking trailers/containers to ship and rail including handling documentation for hazardous shipments and customs clearances.
Taking responsibility for arranging collections/deliveries.
Daily invoicing of shipments as soon as loads are collected and for updating customer agreements and for self-billing of suppliers.
Providing close liaison with transport teams ensuring optimal operations efficiencies and service levels.

Key Skills:

Exceptionally high levels of customer service at all levels, ensuring clients expectations have been exceeded.
Sound understanding of the logistics sector.
Strong account management skills with major blue-chip companies.
Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
IT competent
