Finishing Operative / Slitter

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• To adhere with health and safety, and hygiene rules at all times.
• Complete a timely and accurate shift changeover with the opposite member of staff.
• Constantly review the company system to identify the next job to be completed.
• Check content of job wallets to ensure instructions are correct and match the content of the system.
• Produce QA samples for internal and external checking.
• Produce correct labels to be attached to the inner core and outer bag for each reel, in accordance with information on system.
• To set up and operate the slitting machine safely and correctly in order to slit the film to the correct customer specification.
• Follow and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and Works Instructions relevant to the department
• To fulfill any other duties as may be identified by the Line Manager.
