One of the UK's leading and fastest growing retailers are actively looking to recruit a dynamic HR Assistant (Retail Performance Management) to join their Head Office team based in North Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities:
Support employees and the retail management team in ensuring performance reviews are executed on time and are completed in line with company expectations
Ensure timely interventions for underperformers and that performance management / capability processes are instigated by line-managers (as required)
Provide jargon free / commercial HR advice to line-managers in delivering performance appraisal and end-to-end performance management / capability processes, in line with company policies and procedures
Ensure management consistency in the delivery of performance appraisal and performance management / capability processes, in line with company policies & procedures
Advise and guide line-managers on a best practice approach to performance management, ensuring jargon free / commercial HR advice that is in line with business requirements
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the retail management team
Support the Head of HR and senior retail management team in the continual assessment and improvement of performance appraisal and performance management / capability processes, in line with the HR and overall business strategy
Support the HR Team and line-managers in the end-to-end administration of performance appraisal and performance management / capability processes
Ownership of maintaining and administrating the company’s internal performance review system
Compile weekly reports for key stakeholders in relation to performance appraisal and performance management / capability processes
Key Skills & Experience:
CIPD qualified (advantageous)
Basic knowledge of UK Employment Law
Good knowledge of HR and HR related procedures - particularly performance management / capability processes
Previous experience in either a retail management or HR related role
Experience in collating and producing reports – including a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong communicator both verbally and in writing - able to provide complex advice / guidance, in a format that is easy to interpret and implement
Ability to influence and constructively challenge
Strong administrative skills
Accuracy / Attention to detail
Commercially focused
Full UK driving licence is essential
