Inventory Controller (Supply Chain)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Replenishment of inventory in line with customer demand and company and departmentals.
• Raising purchase orders through the automated suggested order system.
• Monitoring the booking in of supplier deliveries.
• Expedite purchase orders.
• Analyse product sales data to aid planning.
• Communicate internally and externally to manage demand in line with departmental KPI's.
• Manage excess inventory stock levels.
• Managing inventory with insufficient shelf life.
• Day to day business queries.
• In house system maintenance.
• Assist the processing of customer product exception report on a daily basis.
• Ensuring uplift and return to suppliers of inventory in quarantine (s) as per departmental KPI's.
• Analyse and manage SKU stock outs to prevent future occurrences.
• Any other appropriate and/or relevant duties and responsibilities at the request of your line manager, as required by the business

Person Specification

• Established and demonstrable track record within an FMCG Supply Chain environment.
• Strong communicator internally and externally at all levels.
• Knowledge and experience within a stock control practise.
• Numerate and analytical.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
